出展者プロフィール / Exhibitor Outline：Since 1485, the Jonquères d’Oriola family, whose history is closely linked to the vine and the equestrian world, has had many generations of winemakers. Passionate, the men of this old Catalan family succeed one another at Château de Corneilla to produce wines typical of the Roussillon region. After an oenological world tour and ten years of transition with his father, William Jonquères d’Oriola took over the estate in 2020, breathing new life into this historic château by placing agro-ecology at the heart of the estate’s concerns.

Our HVE4-labeled vineyards are located around Château de Corneilla, south of Perpignan, between Collioure and Bages. Our reds, rosés, whites and Vins Doux Naturels are all typical profiles of the Roussillon region.

Pre-fermentation cold maceration
Traditional fermentation at low temperature
Regular pigeage and vatting of four weeks
Ageing in French oak casks of 400L for 8 months

TASTING – ELEGANT & INTENSE
Appearance : Intense purple
Nose : Powerful with aromas of cassis and blackberry, light vanilla and slightly smokey
Palate : Round and powerful with notes of lightly spiced black fruits. A good aromatic intensity.

TASTING – COMPLEX & REFINED
Appearance : pale yellow
Nose : fresh and expressive of white fruits, followed by toasted and vanilla notes
Palate : a lightly oaked soft character, this wine reveals complex flora aromas. The finish is minerally and slightly iodised, thanks to its ageing on lees, aromas of fresh spices and brioche.
