Wine Appellation: PDO Cariñena. Ventilated climate and stony soil.
Vineyard location: Aguarón. 500-700m altitude. 40 years old vines.
Ageing in oak barrels: Garnacha 5 months (70% American, 30% French) and Cariñena 5 months (100% French).
Tasting note: Ruby red with a violet tinge. Aromas of red and black berries and a nice smoky profile. Medium density mouth-feel with flavors of red cherries and blackberries. Spicy and smoky, with powerful fruit and freshness at the same time.

Malolactic fermentation in barrel. 4 months of ageing in French and

Tasting note: Deep ruby color. Intense smoky and spicy aromas of thyme, paprika and clove. Fruity tones of blackberries and cherries lurk beneath the dominant aromas. Medium density with intense flavors of raspberry jam and cinnamon.

Tasting note: Lovely pale pink with a youthful nose of rose petals, strawberries and cream. The wine is refreshing in the palate with a sparkly sensation of crushed strawberries, honeydew and lemons. Crisp and fruity nature.

Pairing: goes great with herb crusted pork tenderloin, a quiche with bacon or Mexican food.

- Grandes Vinos is a leading Aragonese winery group producing wines in PDO Cariñena and PDO Somontano, offering a wide and varied portfolio, highly rated worldwide and with an outstanding quality-price ratio. Main brands (produced in 5 cooperative wineries in PDO Cariñena): El Circo, Monasterio de las Viñas, and CDA (Corona de Aragon). Apart from the premium iconic brands produced at independent boutique wineries with limited production: Anayón (PDO Cariñena), and Idrias organic wines (PDO Somontano). We adapt to market trends, offering diverse wine typologies (still white, still rosé, still red, sparkling vermouth...) and categories (No ABV, Low ABV, Bio / Organic, Vegan...). We also produce different formats (75cl standard bottle, 37,5cl fillette, 150cl magnum, 5L Jeroboam, Bag in Box, Can, PET...). We have been awarded with many quality distinctions and we also have several sustainability certificates, such as EcoProwine certification or Sustainable Wineries for Climate Protection. We have also implemented environmental friendly practices both in winery and vineyard (solar panels for energy self-sufficiency, pheromone diffusers to avoid using herbicides and pesticides, water recovering system...). We also rely on the most updated technology for the different production steps (example: GPS for monitoring vineyard works and control yield).
