出展者プロフィール / Exhibitor Outline：Kuzubağ Estate & Winery was founded in 2007 when we first planted the vineyards in our hometown of Çal, Denizli, Turkey. Conscious of the region’s distinctive ter- roir and honouring its centuries-old winemaking heritage, we set out slowly to establish our vineyard showcasing indige- nous Turkish grapes as well as classic varietals. After patiently waiting 13 years for the vineyards to mature, we embarked on constructing a 3000 square metre contemporary winery discreetly embedded into the landscape at the very heart of the estate. After completion in 2021 we celebrated our first vintage.
As a family with deep roots in the land and culture of the region, Kuzubağ aims to respect and connect the vine, the soil and the people. We strive to draw local and international attention to the rich history of our viticulture and highlight the unique character of the grapes in the bottle by producing high quality yet accessible wines.

- Named after our hometown, the Çal Karası grape continues to inspire and surprise us. A fragrant ruby coloured wine proudly made with our terroir’s very own native variety; on the nose, fresh cherry, raspberry, red forest fruits and with white spices, this wine has a very lively aromatic structure. Fresh in its youth with fruity aromas while slowly developing light velvety tannins and spice notes as it matures.

- The Kalecik Karası grape is a variety indigenous to central Anatolia, yet feels right at home in the terroir of Çal and has adapted to it with ease. With its refined plum colour, a blast of forest fruit aromas on the nose and clove notes on the back palate, its tannins are balanced with a lively acidity. Described as “Turkey’s answer to Burgundy Reds” by the IWC, its fragrant elegance perfectly complements Mediterranean and Anatolian cuisines.

- “Haziran” means “June”; the time of nature awakening, blooming vines and the revelry of fruits, the beginning of joy and holiday, and to us, Kuzubağ Haziran is all these feelings in a bottle.
Accompanied by the fruity vibrancy that of menthol and black pepper emerges from the combination and mineral earthy hints on of four grape varieties, medium-plus body and light barrel touch, it can take everyone to the joyful mood of June.
