Silvaner is a white wine variety grown primarily in Rheinhessen and Franconia (Germany) as well as Alsace (France).
This wine originates from vines that are about 38 years old already and grow on limestone. Silvaner vines are very typical for our region Rheinhessen. The bouquet shows aromas of hay and wild herbs, but also fruity aromas such as apple and pear. On the palate, the Silvaner shows minerality and fruit aromas and the same time. Again, you find hay, herbs, apple, pear but also lime zest. This Silvaner has a good length, showing some phenolic notes and low acidity. Medium+ body, medium+ finish. Drink now or cellar up to 4 years.

製品特徴 / Product Features: This Chardonnay grows on the limestone soil of the highest vineyard in our Bermersheimer Hildegardisberg site. This promises ripe yellow fruit, a certain coolness and minerality, but also plenty of power and a good length.

After extensive maceration, the wine is matured partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in barriques (French oak). Subsequent maturation on the lees for 8 months.

The result of our creative experimentation, this wine was made from our aromatic Scheurebe grapes in the last days of fall 2022.

For this natural wine, we fermented the grapes very gently on the skins for over 10 days and then left them to mature on the lees for 10 months. Remarkable complexity with aromas of grapefruit, sage, peach and flint, a delicate melting quality due to the yeast ageing, velvety phenolics and amazing depth of aromas and texture.

“mystique” embodies the perfect symbiosis of tradition and innovation and promises a flavorful adventure.

Note: This wine is unfiltered and bottled with minimal use of sulphur. Cloudiness and suspended matter are desirable in this wine. We recommend enjoying an opened bottle within 24 hours.

The barren limestone soils of the Ensheimer Kachelberg vineyard, planted with a very small and loose-berried Pinot Noir clone, shape the character of this Pinot Noir Réserve. On the nose, aromas of blackberry and sour cherry alternate with smoky, herbal notes and a hint of graphite. Full-bodied and silky on the palate with a good body.
