製品特徴 / Product Features: The 2023 vintage at Paraje Alto Hungrao, in Manzanares (Ciudad Real), was marked by a very early and high-quality growing cycle. The winter was mild, and spring saw above-average rainfall, favouring active budding and the correct accumulation of water reserves in the soil.
From the beginning of summer, there was a sharp rise in temperatures and progressive water stress, which accelerated the ripening of the Cencibel variety. These conditions led to an exceptionally early harvest, which began in the first days of August, even earlier than in previous years.
The dry, hot summer, combined with the absence of rain during the harvest, ensured excellent grape health, with small, concentrated berries. The result was an early harvest, with a possible reduction in production, but with high concentration, a good balance between sugars and acidity, and a faithful expression of the vineyard's character.
