Only a few casks have withstood the passage of time.

Traditionally crafted and aged biologically under a veil of flor for three years in oak casks. Pale straw to light golden in colour. The nose reveals almond, bakery and marzipan aromas, derived from the action of flor yeasts.

It also shows subtle notes of wood, vanilla and dried fruits.

On the palate, it is very dry, delicate and light, with saline nuances. The finish brings back the characteristic almond notes.

製品特徴 / Product Features: The elaboration of De Alberto VORR follows an almost forgotten ritual. For months, the wine—crafted from Verdejo grapes sourced from old vines—rests in demijohns, glass vessels exposed to sunlight, enduring summers and seasonal changes that leave their mark. It is a slow, artisanal process through which the wine gradually evolves, gaining depth, complexity, and its distinctive golden hue.

Following this period of sun exposure, the wine continues its journey in barrels that are never fully emptied. A portion of the original wine is always retained, allowing each new stage to preserve the essence of previous vintages. Over the decades, these soleras have been refreshed through small annual extractions, maintaining the wine’s natural balance. In the case of De Alberto VORR, no intervention has taken place since at least 1999, preserving its character intact and reinforcing its status as an exceptional wine.

De Alberto VORR is, ultimately, a wine that transcends trends and time constraints—a living testament to the past, carefully safeguarded with respect and emotion. It invites one to pause, to listen to its story, and to savour the passage of time.

The result is an enveloping wine, with aromas reminiscent of vanilla, dried fruits, and raisins, evoking a sense of calm, heritage, and tradition.
