出展者プロフィール / Exhibitor OutlineBodega Santa Cruz de Alpera was founded in 1947 by 25 winegrowers. Their goal was to create a winery to elaborate their own wines and this journey leads us to today.
We aim to keep the cooperative identity; our winery offers unique products due to grow a single variety, Garnacha Tintorera. With about 3,000 hectares cultivated, more than a third in organic farming, the winery meets markets in several countries. Our philosophy is focused on seeking the welfare of the more than 400 associates that currently form our winery, which is one of the main economic engines of Alpera, a small town of 2500 inhabitants.Our commitment to the environment is using the non-invasive vine growing, with more than 1000 hectares in organic certified production. Santa Cruz de Alpera is the largest Garnacha Tintorera producer in Spain. That grape is unique and native of our region. We have 3.000 hectars cultivated, the third part of them organic production. Our vineyards are located at an altitude between 800 and 1.100 meters.

TASTE
It has a weet entrance and the balance between acidity and tannicity emphasizes its persistence. The power of the Garnacha Tintorera is present and the toasted end makes a long wine. The final sensation is a complex reminiscence of the red berries mixed with notes of vanilla, coffee and tobacco.
MATCHING
It is deal to pair with beef, game meat and cured cheese. The proteins of the meat and the tannins of the wine make a perfect combination in the mouth.
TEMPERATURE AND OPTIMAL CONDITIONS
We recommend drinking this wine within 10 years after its production. Its deal serving temperature is 16-18ºC.
VINEYARDS
The vineyards for the elaboration of our wines are strictly selected by our technicians following their age, low productivity and health, and grape’s physiochemical parameters are the guidelines on the searching for the best quality. For this wine, the vineyards are a minimum of 30 years old. The harvest is done in cases of 200kgs with a strict selection upon arriving at the winery,
PRODUCTION
The vinification was made using traditional methods with destemming before fermentation in stainless steel tanks with air/nitrogen injection. Fermentation temperature is at around 28ºC with maceration time of up to 10 days.
AGING
The malolactic fermentation is undertaken in a selection of new fine grain american oak barrels of 500l. The wine stays a minimum of 8 months. The wine finishes with a light clarification and cold stabilization

TEMPERATURE AND OPTIMAL CONDITIONS
Consume within 10 years of the harvest at a temperature between 16 and 18ªC.
VINEYARDS
The vineyards used in our wines are selected using a rigorous selection process by our technical team. In search for maximum quality, the selection is based largely on age of vineyard, yield and the general health of the vineyard. For our most premium wine, great attention to details is taken care of from budbreak to the harvest. The vineyards are a minimum of 40 years old. The harvest is donde in cases of 100kgs with a strict selection upon arriving at the winery.
ELABORATION
The wine is made using tradicional methods with destemming before fermentation in stainless steel tanks with air/nitrogen injection. Fermentation temperature is at around 32ªC with maceration time of up to 16 days.
AGING
Malolactic fermentation is undertaken in a selection of new, fine grain frech oak barrels of 500l. The wine stays a minimum of 15 months. A light clarification and cold sabilisation finished the wine before being aged for a minimum of 14 months in bottle before realease.

Clean and brilliant with a good tear. It has a yellow color with greenish reflections.
BOUQUET
It has medium-high intensity. We can find tropical reminiscences. However, it is a little bit more citrin than conventional wine. An anisette background is also notable.
TASTE
In the mouth entry it is sweet, fresh and well balanced with a medium persistence. It is easy to drink and it has a strong fruity character.
MATCHING
It is recommended to pair with rice, seafood and light cheese.

PRODUCTION
We obtain the grapes from a mechanical harvest carried out during the night, in order to avoid the high temperatures and the light, so we can protect the grape must from oxidation. The fermentation temperature is around 13ªC. That low temperature produces a bigger quantity of aromas.
After the fermentation, the wine was kept with the less(on its lees) for three months making a “bâttonage” every week to get a more structured and silky wine which makes it more persistent in the mouth.

It is clean and brilliant, with a good tear with raspberry pink nose.
BOUQUET
It has medium-high intensity, with a lot of berries aromas. We can find strawberry yoghurt aroma with some strawberries and raspberries jellybeans notes.
TASTE
It is sweet at the entrance, fresh and balanced with a medium persistence. This is an easy-to-drink wine with a strong fruity character. It is complex at the end with a final that brings all those red fruits.

The fermentation temperature is around 16ªC. That low temperature produces a bigger aromas quantity. The fermentation was enlarged to 25 days.
The peculiarity of this making is the use of cold maceration process gives to the wine a bigger sweet sensation in the mouth and more complexity of the fruits on the nose.

On the nose, we have preserved the fruit from the Monastrell varietal, with sutble confit fruit flavours, blended with smokey hints and torrefactor tones from the gently toasted french oak barrels.
TASTE
It is sweet at the beginning, fresh and well balanced with a medium persistence. It is easy to drink and it has a strong fruity character. The bitter end is typical of the variety Verdejo.
MATCHING
Ideal with deeply flavours stews, rich meats, pasta with
mushrooms, dried meats such as Spanish ham and cured cheese.
TEMPERATURE AND OPTIMAL CONDITIONS
We recommend drinking this wine within 5 years after its production. Its deal serving temperature is 15ªC.
VINEYARDS
The vines selected for the making of this wine are carefully selected by our winemaking team, who considered age, yields, vigor of the wine in addition to the quality of the grapes to ensure maximum quality.
PRODUCTION
Traditional vinification practices are folllowed withcrushing, fermentation in rotative horizontal tanks. The fermentation temperature was around 26ªC with maceration time of 8 days.
AGING
Following malolactic fermentation, the wine waws aged in 300 litre french oak barrels for a min of 6 months. The barrels are blend of new to 4 years old with new barrels accounting for at least 15%. After a barrel ageing, the wine is lightly clarified and cold stabilised. Just before bottling the wine has undergone an amicrobic filtration to conserve all its characteristics over time.

PRODUCTION
The vinification was made separately in the traditional way with the destemmed of the grape in vertical rotating tanks. The fermentation temperature was close 30ªC and the grape skins must were in contact for 12 days.
AGING
The malolactic fermentations was made in new French oak casks of 225 liters. The wine is aged in the oak minimum of 12 months. The cascks are from new to 4 years old (15% is new oak).
