Behind Couleurs d’Aquitaine: 300 families of winegrowers, an IFS / BRC certified bottling center, 3,500 hectares of vineyard, and a major territory, Périgord.
To preserve this terroir, the Vignerons Cooperateurs du Périgord have committed to a strong CSR approach: 80% of farms HVE 3 certified, 8% of Organic areas.
Couleurs d’Aquitaine offers a complete range of conventional, HVE3 and organic AOP Bergeracoises, AOP Bordeaux, signatures brands and Estate Wines.

VINIFICATION
The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks on fine lees for 6 months We maintain this ageing process for as long as possible, as it protects the wine from oxidation, but above all it enhances smoothness on the palate.The woody finish is done through a selection of staves added during the wine's tank ageing during 1 5 months 5 weeks before bottling)

- Situated in the commune of Saint Avit Saint Nazaire, near the Dordogne river banks , the vineyard spreads over soils composed of gravels and limonous sands. The harvert is performed mechanically.
Traditional vinification with control of temperatures to guaranty the respect of the grape varieties. The wine is then aged in stainless steal or cement tanks with regular rackings to fine the tannins.
Garnet red color with purple hints. Very well fruity nose with aromas of redcurrant, raspberry, blackberry. Fleshy, spicy, well structured, melted tannins, good length in the mouth. Very nice fruity flavour.

After fermentation, the wine is transferred to either stainless steel or cement tanks for aging. Stainless steel tanks are commonly used in winemaking as they are neutral and do not interact with the wine, allowing it to retain its natural flavors.

- Château la Vaure is located in the commune of Le Fleix, a village in the south-west of France. Le Fleix is on the edge of the Dordogne in a place where the river makes a pronounced bend. Located in an alluvial plain bordered to the north and west by clay-limestone hills. Its land lends itself particularly well to the cultivation of vines. A cooperative estate, Château La Vaure was once attached to the Protestant temple of Le Fleix. It is now managed by the GFA DE LA VAURE and its 98 winegrowers, represented by Christophe Ottogali. Conducted in a reasoned way, the farm has been HVE certified since the 2019 vintage. Among the eco-responsible initiatives deployed within the vineyard are a biodiversity trail, sheep grazing, a photovoltaic installation project.
Oak aging in barril during 12 months.

- A family estate for several generations, Château Le Vigneau is located on the hillsides south of Bergerac, in the town of Saint-Julien d'Eymet. Anthony Comte, fervent defender of the environment, has opted for a reasoned cultivation method. The estate is thus certified Organic Agriculture. The soils are clay-limestone. The harvest is carried out traditionally.
Separated vinification from the grape varieties. Semi-carbonic maceration, thermal regulation of fermentation. The wines are then aged in stainless steel vats.

- The Domaine du Grand Pouget has a rich family history. In 1997 Christian PEYROUX took over the estate after his father retired. Since December 2017 this SCEA has been managed by Thomas ROBLIN, his son-in-law The vineyard covers 88 Ha including 16 Ha in red Located between the municipalities of Colombier and Conne de Labarde near Bergerac (South West of France) on clay soil limestone.
This cuvée is the fruit of the work of winegrowers committed to a reasoned culture approach, the operation is thus certified High Environmental Value.
The harvest is carried out manually by successive sorting. The grape varieties are vinified in the classic way and the alcoholic fermentation is controlled thermally. Finally, the wine is aged in stainless steel vats before being bottled.
Sémillon, Muscadelle, Sauvignon
This Monbazillac is distinguished by its finesse and elegance. A golden dress. A nose of white flowers with delicate notes of honey. Acacia nuances on the palate.
Serve at 6 ° -8 °. Keep 5 to 8 years.
