Zaric Distillery was founded in 1946 on the tradition of „Distillery Povlen“ in Kosjeric, heart of authentic fruit growing region on the hillsides of Povlen mountain. In 2007 Zaric family has put into operation new distillation line which is used by the top class malt whisky producers, ensuring highest quality and continuity standards. Zaric Distillery has a modern line for processing, packing and quality control and facility for maturing the brandy in oak barrels. All the equipment installed in Kosjerić factory is the latest technical and technology break-through made in the world, while the hygienic conditions are according to highest world standards. Yearly maximum capacity is 1 million litres and can be easily increased with more barrels.
Zaric brand is the market leader in Southeast Europe in the production of top quality brandy. Company has many different kinds of brandies which are made from 100% organic local fruit. Our main product which we are proud to present is KRALJICA plum brandy which is the only brandy in this part of Europe with protected geographical origin.

The best varieties of brandy plums, Požegača, Trnovača and Crvena Ranka in strictly controlled treatment process gave this great brandy, only in Serbia, with protected geographical origin. Characteristics
This brandy is dominated by the rich and sophisticated fragrance of real fruit, and the taste is harmonious, rounded off with a bouquet and long aftertaste of pure oak. “Kraljica” can be taken in all occasions, usually as an appetizer. It is served at room temperature or chilled to a maximum of cellar temperature and then it provides its full and sumptuous taste.

Product description
The production process of KING is somewhat similar to the production of French cognac, but the basic raw material is not grapes, but plums, and that is the autochthonous one - trnovača. KING is produced from plum wine of the PRUVIN type, which was obtained by blending wines from three varieties of plums, namely Trnovača wines, Crvena Ranka wines and Požegača wines. The entire amount of plums is hand-processed. The stone was removed by hand so that during the mechanical extraction of the stone, a small part of the stone would not remain in the wine hook, which would lead to an increase in the value of cyano-hydrochloric acid (poison for humans).
The process of obtaining white wines was used, where the must is separated immediately after mashing from the solid part of the grapes, here from the solid part of the plum. The wine obtained in this way must be controlled from day to day (almost hour by hour) and when the right time comes (because it must not be sulfurized) must go to distillation immediately.
During the first distillation performed with a copper cauldron, a soft wine distillate with a strength of up to 30.0% vol. Such wine distillate is distilled again by fractional distillation (all substances harmful to human health are separated) and a pure wine distillate with a strength of over 74.0% vol. As such, it is aged in oak barrels with a volume of 220 liters.
The aging period in the oak barrel (obligatorily from the Kosjerić area) must not be less than 3 years. The distillate is then gradually diluted to the desired strength. It was shown that at a strength of 40.0% vol. KING gives the best aroma, as well as noise and is completely "rounded".
Over 3000 wine samples and as many distillates were produced until the best result was reached, and the best result is the KING himself - a unique and fiery drink. Due to the complexity and precision of production, KING is produced in small and limited series. This top-quality product had to be packed in a crystal bottle with two crystal glasses in order to provide pleasure to the end.
