Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG and Prosecco Treviso DOC, as well as other types of red wine. A passion for good wine has led the Tomasi family to produce excellent quality wines.
The Tomasi Farm is surrounded by nature and by the hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, an area that has been declared a World Heritage Site in 2019. The winery has a handsome landscape and is located in a region with a unique microclimate able to give unmistakable notes to each bunch of grapes.
The hills lying between Conegliano Veneto and Valdobbiadene in the province of Treviso provide the ideal soil for Glera vines and for one of the most successful sparkling wine-making districts in Italy. One of the characteristics of this terroir is the number of variations it produces in the 18 areas involved (known as "Rive"), each of which provides sparkling wine with a different bouquet of aromas. The area has become DOCG since 2007, the highest Italian recognition for quality wines produced in a specific territory.
Tomasi heritage started long ago in an 18th century farmhouse, where Gianfranco Tomasi's family has lived for generations. The house is surrounded by hills and located in northern Treviso, about
50km from Venice. Tomasi family preserved the building with an accurate restoration work just carried out has rejuvenated its fascination by highlighting its original stonework.
