出展者プロフィール / Exhibitor Outline：The Fontaine du Clos vineyard, in the south of Rhône Valley, is an independent family winery owned for 4 generations, located between Avignon and Mont Ventoux. We produce 3 AOP : Vacqueyras , Côtes du Rhône and IGP Vaucluse. Our main particularity, is that we are also a vine nursery. The two activities allow us to have a good expertise and understanding of the vine to develop a very complete range of quality and innovative wines. Our vineyard of 90 hectares planted with more than 50 types of grappes allow us to produce 18 cuvées in 3 colours (and even an orange wine). Evermore, we own rewards from the classical american press : Wine Enthusiast, Wine Advocate, Jeb Dunnuck, Decanter, etc…

TERROIR
Our vines benefit from a cool, clay-limestone soil, producing light and fruity wines! The subtle alliance of black and white grape varieties promises a tasty moment.
VINIFICATION
The harvest takes place in mid-September, in the freshest hours of the morning.
The particularity of this vintage is the blending of the variety of white, Muscat Petits Grains with the variety of black, Caladoc, so we obtain a nice rosé colour with muscated aromas.
TASTING

Grenache, Syrah.
TERROIR
Cuvée resulting from a parcel selection, the grapes used to make this wine come from the same plot : Pince Lapin. This piece of land transmitted its name to this cru because it is privileged by its exposure. Its vines associated with the clay-limestone soil and smooth pebbles, gives it both all its power and its elegance...
Yield : Around 35 Hectolitres per Hectare. Production : Only 2000 bottles per year.
VINIFICATION
The grapes are selected and picked by hand at a place called "Pince-Lapin". Scuffed and compressed, berries are then placed in a tank for carbonic maceration for a period of three to four weeks. During this period of fermentation aromas are revealed and tannins delicately extracted. Aging is done in french oak barrels allowing a subtle exchange with the wood.
TASTING

Harvesting is done by hand in late September. Winemaking is traditionnal (destemmed and crushed), then placed in a tank with two daily pumping and a double load shedding until racking. During 12 months, the wine is aged in barrels for
maturation and bottled for optimum aging.

TASTING

VINIFICATION
Grapes are harvested by hand in late august, in the fresh morning then pressed as soon as they arrive in the cellar. The alcoholic fermentation take place at low temperature. The wine is intoned in barrels for several weeks.
TASTING

Located between Sainte-Cécile les vignes and the University of Suze la rousse, the soil is mainly stony clay-limestone in the north for the Grenache and rolled clay-sandy pebbles in the south for the Syrah.
Yield : Around 40 Hectoliters per Hectare.
VINIFICATION
The grapes are scuffed and crushed before being put in tank for 15 days. Two daily reassemblies allow an infusion between the marc and the must, which brings colour, structure and aromas.
TASTING

VINIFICATION
Harvested at the end of August in the morning, in order to preserve the freshness of the berries. The vinification is done at low temperature (15/17°C). The wine is then carbonated in vats until small bubbles are obtained which will be directly trapped in the bottle...until the tasting!
TASTING

VINIFICATION
The grapes are harvested at the end of August in the cool of the morning, then pressed as soon as they arrive in the cellar. Fermentation takes place at low temperature (15/17°C)
TASTING

VINIFICATION
